The facility at The Rosebery Eye Specialist Centre was established as a medical practice in 1947.
Since then it has grown to incorporate a state of the art fully accredited Day Surgery Centre facility which was established in 1988. The Day surgery facility also provides a separate comprehensive Ophthalmology clinic and a daily GP practice. The Day Surgery has full accreditation with the Australian Council of Health Care Standards (ACHS).
Our facility has a fully operational independent private operating theatre set up with dedicated preoperative, operative, scrub, sterilization and recovery areas.
We have only the very latest cutting edge technology which includes the latest Cataract removal system. All our equipment is state of the art. Our operating microscope and technology is the very latest and advanced high quality systems.
